Television chef Jamie Oliver broke down in tears of frustration while filming his new series “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution USA”, which aims to reform the eating habits of America’s fattest city, Huntington, West Virginia.

The residents of Huntington, over 50% of whom are obese, were blatantly uninterested in the chef’s healthy eating tips, and some residents were outwardly hostile to some of his suggestions.

When local schoolchildren were shown tomatoes hanging on a vine, they were unable to correctly identify the food.

Cowell, who already has judging duties on Britain’s “X-Factor” and “Britain’s Got Talent”, says he would have been stretched too thin if he tried to add the American “X-Factor” to his current continent-hopping workload which includes “American Idol”.

Leonardo DiCaprio has long been fascinated with Viking culture, reports Variety magazine, so he jumped at the chance to don some horns for an upcoming Viking period drama to be directed by Mel Gibson.

The untitled film is expected to begin shooting in fall 2010, and will no doubt be as intense as Gibson’s other period directing efforts “Braveheart,” “The Passion of the Christ” and “Apocalypto.”

Can Leo pull off playing a fierce Viking? Although DiCaprio is officially listed at a smidge under 6′, there is much discussion as to whether he is really closer to 5′10″ on a good day, and has been wearing 2″-3″ lifts since appearing as a much shorter version of himself in “Titanic”.

Actress Kristen Johnston is most recognizable for her stint as alien Sally Solomon on TVs “3rd Rock from the Sun” from 1996-2001.

So what has Kristen been up to lately? We didn’t hear about it until now, but apparently in 2008 she posed for a hot PETA photo shoot in support of New York City carriage horses’ rights. Giddy-up!

In a twist of irony, her former 3rd Rock co-star French Stewart (Harry Solomon) owns and operates several zoos in Albuquerque. Look for a little friction between the two if there is ever a “3rd Rock” reunion show!

Singer Michael Buble made another guest host appearance on “Live With Regis and Kelly” this morning, sitting in for Regis Philbin during his hip replacement surgery.

This is not the first time Buble has made a guest host appearance on the show, he does a good job at it, and quite frankly Regis is no spring chicken. Is his appearance a harbinger of the future of the popular morning show? Might we see “Live with Kelly and Bublé” in the near future?
